Tested them against a range of more expensive Sennheiser when I was looking and found them superior in every respect. Very neutral (mistaken for dullness by some), will not fatigue the listener after moderate use. The v700 are actually better than the more expensive SA v1000s.

If you broke them, they could not be repaired. The external cables used proprietary plugs as well and they invariably didn’t fit their sockets, resulting in the sound cutting in and out.

These look like a copy of the Sony MDR7506 (marvellous cans) and if they’re built like them, that’s a vast improvement.

TBH, I find them really comfortable (and very quiet) and I’m used to Sennheiser’s being really solidly built so I’d lean towards them than someone I’d not heard of before. What do you mean by unethical though?

But if comfort and sound quality don’t really matter, and you’re ok with unethical companies, go the sennheiser 🙂
