No, the laptop is a local development LAMP setup (the benefit of a beefy dual-core laptop with 4Gb of RAM and a 64-bit OS is that you can do stuff like this). Once I have the site the way I’d like it to look, I’ll rsync or hg push to the server and that’ll be that.

So you will need to keep your laptop on all the time till you get a server? Just wondering because for me it was server – domain name – wordpress.org so I did it in reverse order. I used digiweb and it was fine. But then again I didn’t have an existing wordpress blog.

I have to tell you though, I had some fun with the CSS. Fun as in grinding one’s incisors…
